Recommendations Approach​

The /recommendations/ page is the designated space for tools the site owner uses or genuinely recommends. It may include affiliate links.

Required Disclosure​

Every recommendation page must include a clear disclosure near the recommendation content:

Rules​

  • Do not hide affiliate disclosures in a distant policy page.
  • Do not make performance claims that cannot be substantiated.
  • Keep recommendations relevant to the practical use case described.
  • Preserve editorial separation: a reference remains useful whether or not it links to an affiliate tool.
  • The affiliate disclosure CSS uses red/error-styled border and background to be visually distinct.
